Ingredients

  • 600g boneless chicken thigh, cubed
  • For marinade: 3 tbsp yoghurt, 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste, 1 tbsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp garam masala, 1 tsp cumin, 2 tbsp cornflour, 1 tbsp rice flour, 1 egg, salt
  • For tempering: 3 tbsp oil, 15 curry leaves, 4 green chillies sliced, 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste, 1 tsp red chilli powder, juice of 1 lemon
  • Oil for deep frying

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken 30 min.
  2. Deep-fry in 170C oil 5 min until crispy and cooked; drain.
  3. Heat oil for tempering; add curry leaves, chillies, ginger-garlic; cook 1 min.
  4. Toss in fried chicken with red chilli powder and lemon juice.
  5. Eat immediately.
